Super Bowl Party Recipes

Super Bowl Party Ideas

Whether you a football super fan or just someone who enjoys the party, chances are you're going to find yourself at a Super Bowl Party on February 5th. If you're lucky enough you might even get to be hosting the party! Oh yeah, you get to set everything up, make sure there's plenty of food and drinks for everyone... watch the crumbs fall on the floor, the drinks spill here and there all while grown people jump up and down on the new mess. Okay okay, so maybe you're the one who is stuck throwing the party...

Either way, don’t miss a moment of the game! Make all of your dishes, like your favorite dips and snack mixes, the night before. That way come game day everything is already ready already... already. You wont be trapped preparing everything while your favorite team is scoring and for once you can enjoy every minute of the game... even the half time show!
Here are some quick and easy recipes that you, your family and friends can make... or you can print them out and even let the kids make everything and see how that works out! Ha ha... I'm kidding of course, but the kids can definitely help out and have fun preparing everything with you. Turn it into a pre-game... game of sorts. Give them points for everything they do to prepare for the party and when it's all set and done, add up the points and see who won. Of course this works better with more than one child but hey, a win is a win!
Rather than put all of your snacks and food out at the beginning of the game, try serving a course or two each quarter:

First Quarter:
Snacks and Appetizers
  1. Delicious Deviled Eggs
  2. Super Snack Mix
  3. and don't forget the good ol' chips and salsa (I didn't put a link on this because... well, it's chips and salsa... okay okay... here goes, get a small bowl and a large bowl. In the small bowl, put salsa... in the large bowl, tortilla chips. Tahdah! Chips and Sal... okay I'm done , moving on...)

Second Quarter
Small dishes
  1. Seven Layer Tex-Mex Dip
  2. Spring Salad

Third Quarter
Chili and Tacos
  1. Touchdown Chili
  2. Fiesta Tacos

Get your guests in the action:
Try a chili and taco bar with toppings like lettuce, tomatoes, onions, shredded cheese and sour cream. Let them mix their own topping and create their own favorite snack in the third. Depending on how the game is going, this might be a very good time to walk away from the TV anyways.
Fourth Quarter
Desserts
  1. Football Game Cookies
  2. Easy Mini Cheesecakes

That's it! Game's over! Party's over too! Now go home! Though only one team can win, all of your party guests will have a great time and have something new to eat and try every quarter.
